Dr Gill Seyfang
Gill is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Consumption at the University of East Anglia. Her research links sustainability policy agendas with ‘new economics’ theories and cutting-edge community-based practice. She is particularly interested in grassroots innovations for sustainable consumption and their potential to grow and spread from their green niches and influence wider society. Recent research has investigated local food systems, community energy, low-impact eco-housing, complementary currencies, and Transition Towns.
